ARTIST  STATEMENT

“I've spent alot of my  life moving.  It's impacted my art in a big way, with stints in Micronesia, Switzerland, Mexico, Canada, New Mexico,  California, & now, Texas.  It's the energy of change and transformation & nature that stirs my imagination. I paint poetic abstracts of rich color & movement.

Expressive, organic form evokes cellular, figurative & natural elements. I think of my work as landscapes of the spirit.

Painting is my form of spiritual expression -  The poetic abstracts are meant to cultivate contemplation, inquiry and the realm of the mysterious. They help give voice to all I cannot say.”
